CFMOTO Unit Recalls

Check whether a recall or service bulletin applies to your motorcycle, ATV, UTV or SSV.

What is a recall?

A recall (or service campaign) happens when CFMOTO finds that a part, a software setting or an assembly on certain vehicles may not perform as designed. Most are precautionary and are fixed quickly by a workshop, but they are issued so that a small problem never becomes a safety problem. Being on this list does not mean your vehicle is unsafe today — it means it should be checked.

If your vehicle is affected, the most important thing is to book it in with an authorised CFMOTO dealer.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to keep using my vehicle?

Read the notice for your recall. If it asks you to stop using the vehicle, or to avoid certain use, please follow that instruction until the work is done. If you are unsure, do not ride or drive the vehicle — phone your dealer first.

Will I be charged for the work?

Recall work is carried out by an authorised CFMOTO dealer. Any costs that may apply to a particular recall will be confirmed in its notice or by your dealer, so please ask when you book and quote the recall number.

How long does it take?

It depends on the recall. Software updates are often quick; part replacements may need parts ordered first. Your dealer will confirm the time and whether the vehicle needs to stay overnight.

I cannot see my model in the list. Am I affected?

If your model code is not listed, the recall does not apply to your vehicle. If you are unsure of your model code, take your registration papers or VIN to any authorised dealer and they will check for you.

I bought my vehicle second-hand — does it still apply?

Yes. Recalls follow the vehicle, not the owner. Your dealer can check the VIN even if you do not have the original service history.

How do I know the work has been done?

Your dealer will give you a job card or invoice when the recall is completed. Keep it with your service records; you can also view your records under Service History.

Who do I contact if I need help?

Contact your nearest authorised CFMOTO dealer. You can find their details on the CFMOTO dealer list.
